MStars has learned that rapper legend Dr. Dre is currently battling a lawsuit in Los Angeles with ex-record label Death Row Records.

The 90s star is claiming that the record company owes him more than $3.05 million in royalties from sales that he produced.

According to RadarOnline, Dr. Dre claims that the unpaid amount "of $676,444.44 stems from unpaid mechanical royalties; $1,200,386.57 in unpaid artist-producer royalties; and $1,179,913 in digital sales," that the rapper has yet to receive.

The judge suggested that the third total summary would help that artist, after he lost a 2010 trademark infringement lawsuit.

The documents show that Dr. Dre, 48 made mention to a discrepancy in the payments he received from Death Row Records. The Compton native has made it clear that the company has yet to give him a bonus that would help raise his revenues from Death Row Album sales from 18 percent to 20.

Executive and Owner Suge Knight has not been the boss of the company since 2006, when he declared bankruptcy. The next owner, WIDEawake, some of the "Nuthin But A G Thang" rapper's hit songs on the web, serving why Dr. Dre is suing for digital sales.
