MStars is learning the details of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air star, Janet Hubert who received a legal slap in the face from her insurance company in court in January.

According to RadarOnline, the actress asked her insurance company to pay for her treatments for her "intense spasms" and "intense pain."

The insurance company responded stating that her treatments are "excessive," and "medically unnecessary" and is asking a judge to dismiss her lawsuit. Hurbert sued SAG-AFTRA insurance company, Health Fund, because the company refused to pay for multiple of "trigger point injections" into her muscles.

Court records show that the former Fresh Prince of Bel Air star considered that the treatments "helped to reduce pain and other symptoms tremendously," and the actress claimed this was the only way she could do day to day functions, and work.

The insurance company claims that 16 treatments per year would be enough, but Hurbert wanted more getting 56 treatments between the months of April 2009, and November 2011.

Court records show that Health Fund spoke to her doctors, two independent external medical providers and other experts said that the treatments "were not effective or medically necessary," and that the former actress did not report even 50% improvement after getting the shots.

The documents say, ""Patient should have been receiving other treatments that would be more effective for her condition, rather than continuing with [trigger point injections], which were apparently not providing adequate relief."

Also, "The Trustees' decision to deny benefits in this case was reasonable and supported by considerable medical evidence."

Hubert, 58 says that she has been suffering from "intense spasms" and "strange chattering" in her jaw and claims the pains prevent her from working.

The "Lawless" star said, "There is a lot going on, health-wise. I have had a lot of issues over the years, but I'd like my benefits back. That's all. They've sort of denied me some very very important medical things that I need to feel good."

New court documents claim that the insurance company is asking the judge to throw away the case. MStars guess "Auntie Viv" has some explaining to do.
