Most people would know the difference between Samuel L. Jackson and Laurence Fishburne, right? They're not exactly small stars. Wrong. Reporter Sam Rubin made a rookie mistake during his interview Monday. Rubin attempted to apologize, but Jackson, 65, didn't make it easy for him. Jackson was being interviewed regarding his involvement in the new RoboCop film when KTLA's entertainment reporter made the big mistake.

During the interview Jackson got a little angry and then replied "We don't all look alike! We may be all black and famous, but we don't all look alike! You're the entertainment reporter for this station, and you don't know the difference between me and Laurence Fishburne?" It's understandable. With the star taking time out of his busy schedule to do an interview it's fair to say he expected Rubin to know his name, so this lack of respect could not be quickly forgotton.

Although Rubin stated his deepest, sincere apology immediately it has still caused a massive outrage, for various reasons. The amount of disrespect shown live was a key matter, and judging Jackson's reaction one can suggest he felt that was an unfair racial observation. The rest of the world know the difference between Jackson and Fishburne, but perhaps somebody should arrange a front row ticket for RoboCop's premier for Rubin, then he won't make the same mistake again, will he?

RoboCop will be released in 2014 and it's sure to be one of this years hottest films, and another masterpiece display of Jackson's highly regarded acting skills.
