Simon Cowell is Expecting First Child And Says it Won't Change Him

Even being a 54-year-old man hasn't harmed Simon Cowell's reputation with the women, but he will soon be expecting his first born child. The well known music critic is known for being calm, chilled and ready for whatever life throws at him, and it appears fatherhood hasn't panicked him either.

Despite being busy with business, preparing for his son's birth and much more, he is still hard at work for Britain's Got Talent, with the auditions currently taking place. His partner, Lauren Silverman, is awaiting the birth of their first child in New York. Before the London auditions for BGT Simon took the time to exchange a few words with British newspaper The Daily Star, in which he stated "I am looking forward to it. He hasn't arrived yet but he's not going to change too much."

When discussing being apart at such a vital time, he explained ""Lauren knows what my work schedule is like, and everything else. She's cool with that and will travel a little bit." So it seems Simon is proving business and personal matters can be mixed, with all parties being happy. The one thought that springs to mind, is how would he react if the birth happened during an audition which is being recorded for television. He showed his dedication by saying "I'm keeping my phone on during the auditions, 100%. If it happens then I just have to go and jump on the plane."

With one of the world's most respected, desired men about to become a father, the world are wondering how he will handle it. He's handled everything else that's been thrown in front of him for 54 years, so it seems he will ease in to fatherhood with ease.
