Eva Mendes squashes pregnancy rumors and jokes about rumored Ryan Gosling split

Rumors about Eva Mendes have been swirling for some time now and she recently sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to spill the beans and put some things to rest. She had some pretty interesting things to say.

While at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Mendes addressed the rumor that she's expecting her first child. Here's how she said this rumor came to be:

"It's so ridiculous. Because it all started because I was didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know those x-ray scanners, which are really creepy. They basically see you naked, right. And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out. I always ask for a personal pat down."

Mendes believes her reluctance to go through TSA scanners lead others to believe that she was with child. Mendes quickly shut that rumor down as Ellen teased her asking, "Alright, do you want to say is it a boy or a girl you're pregnant with?"

Mendes' response: "Oh god, no no no! No!"

Another hot topic during her chat with Ellen was Eva Mendes' rumored split from boyfriend Ryan Gosling. When asked about her Valentine's Day plans, Mendes took the opportunity to poke fun at the rumors.

"I'm not a big Valentine's Day person," she explained. "I'll probably just order a deep dish and watch 'The Notebook' or something. Just cry, weep."
