Jane Krakowski to Star in Fox Pilot Dead Boss

As reported by Deadlne, the former 30 Rock star has been elected for the lead of Fox's pilot for Dead Boss. Dead Boss is a comedic mystery that finds overachiever Helen Stephens (Krakowski) wrongfully convicted of murdering her boss and forced to rely on her train wreck of a sister to prove her innocence. A U.S. adaptation of the UK television series, Fox's Dead Boss has no expected premiere date.

Krakowski recently guest starred in ABC's Modern Family as Gloria's, Sophia Vergara, rival Dr. Donna Duncan. Prior to her 30 Rock fame, Krakowski appeared in the film Alfie and the television show Ally McBeal.

The New Jersey native has also been in a number of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions such as Damn Yankees, Funny Girl, and Nine.
