The Avengers: Age of Ultron did some early shooting in South Africa last week, which caused many fans to wonder what the content of the filming would produce. Some expected scenes with Baron von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), but a new report focuses on another large, green main character.

Comic Book Movie posted a report from a South African local named Ismail Ebrahim, who said the following about the shoot:

"I could see some sort of action scene where Hulk was battling someone but not too sure who was it. I could make it out clearly because they use a huge green head whenever they're filming Hulk scenes...They used a guy dressed normally but had on a backpack with two iron poles holding up Hulk's chest upwards and then he was doing whatever he had to do...scaring the people. By the looks of it, Hulk will probably play a major role in the Johannesburg shoot."

Irfaan Ebrahim also told the site that Hulk gets thrown into trucks and that numerous extras flee from the Avenger. The report does not state who or what Hulk fights, but it does point out that the first 10 minutes of Age of Ultron reportedly take place in South Africa, which could mean that Hulk will appear in the green flesh early in the film, as opposed to Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo). Or, the film could return to South Africa later on for this fight sequence.

Finally, the report states that the main cast members would not appear in costume anytime soon, as principal photography will reportedly not start until April and shooting will not occur outside the United Kingdom.
