Star Wars 7 Casting News, Rumors: 'Transformers 4' star Jack Reynor cast in J.J. Abrams' 'Episode VII' in theaters 2015?

22-year-old Irish actor Jack Reynor might not be a recognizable name just yet, but after this summer's blockbuster movie Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters, we're sure to take notice of the film's young star. Though the Michael Bay film is a huge step for the relatively unknown actor, he's also the latest subject of a Star Wars: Episode VII casting rumor. Though these rumors are very frequent and rarely confirmed, do you think Reynor will star in the J.J. Abrams film in 2015?

Not only does this new rumor claim that Reynor has auditioned for a role (with a lightsaber!), but it also claims that the new face of the Transformers franchise has already been offered a role in the new Star Wars film. We should definitely hesitate to get too excited, but production on the film starts in May, so it would make sense for casting to have already started.

Other actors linked to Episode VII rumors that have yet to be completely ruled out as false claims are Girls star Adam Driver, Breaking Bad alum Jesse Plemons, and Magneto himself, Michael Fassbender. Again, these are examples of other rumors, but sources have yet to completely rule out these possibilities. Add Reynor to the list and it looks like we have quite the attractive male lineup for the movie!
