Bret Easton Ellis is an author known for his great storytelling as well as for his personality as an outspoken ... well, jerk. Kanye West is pretty much the same in the music world. The two have recently decided to work on a special movie project together and fans are anxiously waiting to hear any details on this possibility.

While speaking with Vice, Ellis explained:

[Kayne] came and asked me to write the film. I didn't want to at first. Then I listened to Yeezus. It was early summer last year and I was driving in my car. He'd given me an advance copy, and I thought, regardless of whether I'm right for this project, I want to work with whoever made this. So fuck it, I said yes. And that's how it happened. That was seven or eight months ago. We'll see what happens.

The author and screenwriter called the project "the most bizarre thing I've ever written," and explained that he told the rapper "no" about four times before he was finally persuaded to make write the film.

"It's in Kanye Land, and that's subject to a whole other time frame," he said, when asked for a synopsis of the movie.

Clearly this isn't much to go on, but pairing these two outspoken artists together is sure to result in something interesting enough to garner plenty of attention.

What do you think of this new announcement? Do you think that it will actually be enjoyable or are you worried about what these two men will come up with?
