Anticipation for Guardians of the Galaxy has soared ever since the trailer for the Marvel film debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week. Director James Gunn has also teased some detail about the film in a recent podcast.

Gunn appeared on the Pointless podcast with Kevin Pereira, who listed off some rapid-fire questions about the film. Perhaps the most interesting detail from Gunn's answers is that fans would soon hear Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, who did not speak in the trailer. Gunn did not elaborate on where, when or how the reveal would occur.

Other details include:

- Fans must "wait and see" if there is an Infinity Gem in the movie.

- Gomora (Zoe Saldana) is "sort of" naked.

- Captain Marvel and Adam Warlock could possibly appear in the film.

- Gunn is "saving some people" for the second trailer, including Yandu (Michael Rooker) and Ronin the Accuser (Lee Pace). He also likes the second trailer better than the first.

- No Avengers will be among the Guardians' ranks.

USA Today recently posted the following information about the movie:

"The movie teams five disparate personalities: Peter Quill (Pratt), aka Star-Lord, was taken from Earth as a 9-year-old, possesses a mysterious orb artifact and pilots the Milano, a muscle car of a spaceship. Gamora (Zoe Saldana) is connected to Thanos, arguably the cosmos' biggest baddie. Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista) is a muscular dude you don't want to upset. And then there are the aliens Rocket Raccoon and Groot (computer-generated characters voiced by Bradley Cooper andVin Diesel, respectively), who are best pals and potentially the biggest things to happen to pop culture since Chewbacca.

Their stories converge in the space prison Kyln. After the characters break out, they venture to Knowhere (the severed head of a celestial being that serves as a hangout for aliens) and visit the weird menagerie of the Collector (Benicio Del Toro). They also have to avoid two villains, Ronan (Lee Pace) and Nebula (Karen Gillan), who are in hot pursuit of Quill's orb, which has the power to destroy the galaxy."
