Check out the new 'Godzilla' movie poster, revealing size of the legendary film monster in the 2014 reboot [PHOTO]

We don't really like to post about movie posters, mainly because they don't really show too much and aren't exactly too interesting in the grand scheme of things, but the latest Godzilla poster is one to talk about. The highly anticipated reboot set for release on May 16 is definitely going to be quite the movie thanks to the reveal of this new poster. [SPOILERS]

This new poster reveals the size of the monster in comparison to San Francisco, the city that is under attack in the 2014 film. The best towers over the tallest buildings as paratroopers (as seen in the teaser trailer from a few months ago) soar down from the heavens to attempt some sort of interaction with the monster. Whether they're trying to fight it or do something else is unknown, but the imagery is cool to say the least.

We don't get to see the monster's face or the front of its body, but the scaly back of the creature is enough of a tease to get us asking for more.  Do you think this poster will help increase the draw of moviegoers to theaters? Let us know what you think in the comments section below!
