Every time Lebron James' Miami Heat take on Kevin Durant's Oklahoma Thunder the world stops and stares, but sadly this is the last time the dynamic duo will face one another this season, unless they meet one another in the NBA championship series, which would be a treat for all fans. The Thunder have been solid for a few seasons now, but the Heat seem to have the upper hand and always find a way to win, and throw down dominant performances in doing so. This time was no different as the Heat rolled to a 103-81 victory.

They finished the game off without James, who was bloodied from a collision with Serge Ibaka. Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh showed their not past their best as the first had 24 points and 10 assists and the latter added 24 points, showing although James makes their team, they can manage without him. This was the Heat's fourth straight game, and the are still in pursuit of the best in the East, in the Indiana Pacers.

Superstar Thunder forward Kevin Durant added 28 points, but his team lost for only the second time at home in 2014. The three main MVP contenders were on show in James, Wade and the current favourite Durant, however games like this will only add to the credential's of the Heat's chasing pack. Good news came for the Thunder as Russell Westbrook returned after missing 27 games, and scored 16 points. This can only be a plus for the already confident Thunder, and if they face the Heat again, they'll feel more confident in having a fully fit Westbrook.
