The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on Sunday will emanate from the Target Center in Minneapolis, the hometown of WWE superstar Brock Lesnar. The Beast is not scheduled for a match at the event, but many fans have wondered if he would make a surprise appearance there considering its location. Now, a prominent WWE employee may have let slip that Lesnar would be there on Sunday night.

PWInsider.com reports that Kane appeared on a local NBC broadcast on Friday morning and the interviewer asked him how Brock Lesnar fits into the company's current plans and if The Beast was still with WWE (the interviewer did not seem to be up-to-date on the current product, as he thought Kane was actually in the Chamber match). Kane responded that Brock was still employed by WWE and that he would be at the pay-per-view on Sunday.

Now, this could simply mean that Lesnar will be backstage, though it's likely that if Lesnar were there, then WWE would want to use him. It's also possible Kane deliberately offered some misdirection, but only time will tell.

Hulk Hogan Update

Hulk Hogan is expected to make his return to WWE on the next edition of Monday Night Raw, the night after the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and the night the WWE Network launches. TMZ now claims to have "rock-solid wrestling sources" and reports that Hogan will definitely come back on Monday and that he has signed a contract with WWE. Furthermore, the site reports that he will be at WrestleMania 30.

This marks the first occasion that a site has stated with 100% certainty that Hogan and WWE have reached a deal and that he will definitely be at WrestleMania. The latest rumors suggest that Hogan will act as the guest host of WrestleMania 30, similar to the way The Rock guest hosted WrestleMania 27.

Brock Lesnar and Batista are advertised for Monday's Raw in Green Bay, and The Undertaker is also expected to make his return to start the build to his annual WrestleMania match.
