Katy Perry was booed off of the runway during Fashion Week in Milan for arriving to the show 50 minutes late. The show could not start until she arrived and the audience was fuming.  The Dark Horse singer took to the stage to appease the audience with a photo-shoot, however her attempt  to smooth over the situation backfired.

According to the DailyMail, Perry received negative attention from not only fashion fans and photographers. UK Marie Claire Editor-in-Chief, Trish Halpin tweeted, "Katy Perry keeping us waiting @moschino going to be late for dinner. That's the problem with celebs at fashion week."

Vanessa Friedman, the Fashion Editor for the Financial Times, was slow to catch on that it was Katy Perry that was holding up the show. She initially tweeted, thinking that Ora was responsible, "Rita Ora shows up @Moschino 45 minutes late. I guess that's what we were waiting for? #MFW #FTLuxury"

Later, when Perry took the stage, Friedman corrected her assumption. "Katy Perry now getting booed by @Moschino audience for arriving 55 minutes late. Really very bad business. #MFW #FTLuxury"

The presentation was Jeremy Scott's debut collection for Moschino.  Scott was appointed Creative Director for Moschino in October 2013. Scott had asked Perry to attend the event alongside Rita Ora. Ora showed up 45 minutes late.  According to a source at Us Weekly, "That was the time she was told to come."

Scott thanked both Perry and Ora for attending the event via Instagram, "Thank you Katyperry & @ritaora for being the best gal pals a boy could dream of I love you both so..."
