Cee Lo Green revealed earlier this week that he would not be returning to NBC's hit singing competition The Voice. Speculation then began about who could replace him, and a Sing-Off judge has thrown her name into the mix.

E! News asked Jewel who would be the best candidate to take over for Cee Lo in the wake of his departure.

"Probably me is the best answer. You know, that's the best person I can think of, Jewel said at the Swiffer Sweep and Trap event in New York City. "I always loved Cee Lo. He has such a fun and warm personality to have on the show and I loved his musical choices. I liked that he has sort of this punk rock attitude. He just wants something real, whoever you are."

Jewel has worked on many reality-singing competitions, including Nashville Star, Platinum Hit and The Sing-Off. She also served as a mentor on the voice and loved the experience, but added that she would like the mentors to do more, such as helping with record deals and other industry issues.

"I love The Voice. I got to be a mentor on The Voice and I really like what they do. I really like that the talent gets to be mentored," she said. "[I]f all it took was being a great singer, then there would be so many more celebrities from these shows. But there are not very many 'cause it takes a lot more than being a great singer."

Do you think Jewel would make a good fit on The Voice? Let us know in the comments below.
