Are Nickelodeon fans surprised that Ariana Grande flaunted some revealing lingerie in a sexy photo shoot with V magazine?

The snapshots aren't too racy - in fact, they're rather stunning. The "Right There" songstress looks absolutely stunning!

The 20-year-old pop princess also got rather personal in the exclusive interview. She had this to say about her inspiring mother Joan Grande (who is definitely NOT a crazy stage mom):

"[It's] the most helpful aspect of my career as an artist and an actress. I don't have a mother who's trying to live her life through me. I've met some really effed-up moms in this business who live for their daughter's careers and live off their children's money. I see that and I'm like, 'This is weird and creepy and I hate it.' My mom has always said that if I don't want to do this she will take me back to Boca."

And Grande's biggest musical influence? Beyonce and Destiny's Child.

"That's where I discovered my range. I grew up listening to Destiny's Child. I would try so hard to mimic all Beyonce's little runs and ad-lib things. They are so precise. It's like math. Remember the Destiny's Child version of 'Carol of the Bells?' I took it apart, put it in GarageBand, and dissected it all. That's how I learned about harmonies and runs and ad-libs. Thank you, Destiny's Child!"

Oh, and she idolizes Madonna's attitude:

"I just love how she stands up for what she believes in and surprises people by not eff-ing up when they want her to so badly...Know what I love most about Madonna? When a bad review came out, she was the first person to say 'f--k you.' When someone said she sounded like Minnie Mouse, she crawled into bed naked except for Minnie Mouse ears. It's such a good attitude to have. It's inspiring to me because there are times when I think I've been a weak, people-pleasing little mouse my whole life."

As for her own career?

"Music is my dharma. It's what makes my heart smile and what I feel like I am meant to do. I understand music more than I understand human beings and the English language."

So forget about the harsh critics:

"That's what I'm learning right now, that I have to become stronger in this industry. I've learned over the past year that you don't have time to chase after ever person who doesn't understand you. The people that know me know that I'm a nice girl. My fans know that I'm a nice girl. My friends know that I'm a nice girl. And ultimately, that's all that matters."
