If you thought Justin Bieber's annoyingly catchy song 'Baby' was yesterdays news, you were wrong. Just as the song was starting ti fall deep beneath all the Bieber controversy it has broken a staggering record. Bieber and his song have been in the headlines for the right reasons this time as he's become the first artist to receive over one billion views for a single music video on VEVO. 

It was an early birthday present for Bieber as he turns twenty on Saturday. With Bieber breaking yet another record and no longer being a teen, can we expect a more grown up Justin now? Justin Bieber has been in trouble recently for disrespecting his fans, breaking the law and countless of other inappropriate actions, but perhaps now he will start to show the maturity needed.

Bieber also has eleven videos on VEVO that have been viewed over 100 million times. Not bad for a lid, right? What's next for the trouble teen, you ask? He has just revealed all about his new song titled 'Broken'. The song features a rapper on it, and shows that Bieber is trying to stay mainstream. Some have even suggested in the past that Bieber, so loves rap music, may do a rap project himself someday, instead of his baby faced pop.

It's been a busy few years for the star, but his career and success do not appear ready to slow down any time soon. Can his new single set records like those that went before?
