Four English Premier League teams qualified for the last sixteen of the UEFA Champions League, and usually they all have positive results, but the first three to play (Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United) all lost and all look like being knocked out, albeit a miracle, so only Chelsea were left to fight for the pride of the English teams, and in their way was Galatasaray. It looked like they'd put things right early on as they took a 1-0 lead, and dominated the early stages, but bit by bit they were pegged back and they drew 1-1, although they still look likely to go through in the second leg.

All eyes were on ex-Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, who is one of their best ever players, but now wears the Turkish giants' jersey instead. The free flowing game was entertaining for the fans, but both managers will look to make corrections for their second game. It was Fernando Torres who opened the scoring, which was ironic as he was always living in the shadow of Didier Drogba during their time as a duo at Chelsea.

Can boss Jose Mourinho become the first manager to win the trophy with three different clubs? Ironically his reputation is built around the competition, but he's yet to win it with his beloved Chelsea. Can Eden Hazard, Frank Lampard and Fernando Torres see of the Turkish outfit in London, or will all four English teams fall short of making the final eight? Either way, expect Didier Drogba to score at Stamford Bridge.
