Judge Mathis talks about his new project with BET, how he keeps up with kids through social media (exclusive interview)

The BET Honors was filled with celebrities from many different industries. One of America's favorite Judges, Judge Mathis was also in attendance. He talked about inequality, and celebrating the greatness of African Americans not only in the month of February, but all year long.

The judge said, "I think this is a great opportunity to showcase the greatness of our people in a great month. We know that African Americans celebrate 365 days a year, but February is our favorite month."

Judge Mathis also told all of the reporters what he loved about DC. "What I love most about DC most, is Southeast where the real folks hang out."

MStars reporter asked the Judge if he was a user of social media, the judge replied, " Yeah to follow my kids, it's the best way I keep up them," as he laughs.

Judge Mathis also revealed that he had a new projecting coming up with BET called, The Judge Mathis Project.
