Russell Wilson has gone from a talented, promising kid to a man with the entire world at his feet. He went under the radar in the NFL draft, and then surprised everybody by becoming the Seattle Seahawks' starting quarterback. Since then ge has only lost one game at home, caught the eyes of many and won the Super Bowl, not bad for somebody who's only been in the league for two years, right? Well it turns out the star is also an accomplished baseball player.

You may or may not know, but Wilson is also a member of the Texas Rangers' MLB organization, and although some thought it was a mere publicity stunt, it seems baseball does hold his interest. The Rangers have revealed that he will actively be taking part in some of their Spring Training events, and that he will be in uniform and ready for a possible appearance against the Cleveland Indians. It's not sure if he will play, but he will actively be involved in all of the build up, and it's a chance for fans to meet and interact with him.

It seems winning a Super Bowl isn't enough to slow this superstar down. Perhaps he's trying to stay in shape while his competitors rest, and is there a better way of doing so than a fellow professional sport? Could the athletic, speedy quarterback trade the American Football for a baseball? It seems you're safe for now, Seahawks fans, but evidently there is a lingering passion for baseball within Wilson, so one day we may see him pick up the bat on a regular basis.
