Ever since Macklemore Instagramed his post-Grammy text apology to Kendrick Lamar, everyone, even Drake chimed in. Everyone except K Dot that is but the TDE rapper has finally broken his silence.

In the cover story for an upcoming issue of Billboard, K Dot spoke out on Mack's apology.

"That text surprised me, but Macklemore is a genuine dude," KL said. "However it panned out, I wish him much success. He touched people's souls, and no one can take that away. Really, the whole Grammy moment was incredible. Not everyone gets that shot."

Totally opposite of what Drake thought of the text apology. Simply put, Drake thought Macklemore's actions were "wack as f**k."

"I was like, 'You won. Why are you posting your text message? Just chill," Drake said to Rolling Stone. "Take your W, and if you feel you didn't deserve it, go get better - make better music. It felt cheap. It didn't feel genuine. Why do that? Why feel guilt? You think those guys would pay homage to you if they won?"

In case you missed it, Kendrick Lamar experienced what is probably considered one of the greatest Grammy snubs of all time. Macklemore took home the "Hip Hop Album of the Year" award, which many felt belonged to K Dot, and then sent him this text message:

"You got robbed. I wanted you to win. You should have. It's weird and sucks that I robbed you. I was gonna say that during the speech. Then the music started playing during my speech, and I froze. Anyway, you know what it is. Congrats on this year and your music. Appreciate you as an artist and as a friend. Much love."
