Manchester City were hoping to lift four trophies, and they still can despite a horrific start. They had memories of last years slip up against Wigan in the FA Cup Final, and it seemed awfully familiar when Sunderland scored an early opener, however, City were excellent throughout, and three second half goals led them to victory. City have now one the first of four trophies, and are favourites two win two of the three they're still in, but can they handle the pressure?

Two goals in two minutes in the second half was enough to turn the tide. Yaya Toure and Samir Nasri both had stunning goals, that many goalkeepers would struggle to stop. From that moment they took the game to Sunderland and never looked like throwing another trophy away. A crowd of near 80,000 witnessed the spectacle and Manchester City ensured their first year manager Manuel Pellegrini won his first trophy at the first time of asking.

Manhester City are in with a chance of lifting the Premier League trophy, and old enemies Wigan are their FA Cup quarter final opponents. If they maintain their form it looks increasingly likely that they will at least win a treble, but to win the fourth, they'd have to mount a bigger comeback than the one against Sunderland, as they are down 2-0 to Barcelona, which should provide a tougher task for the in form blues.

Will City win just the Capital One Cup, or can they progress and win some of the others they're aiming for?
