Movie director Steve McQueen's critically-acclaimed "12 Years a Slave" took home the 2014 Oscar Award for "Best Picture." McQueen and his fellow cast members were thrilled over the win - but maybe McQueen and star Michael Fassbender got a little too excited?

The popular British film producer/screenwriter and 36-year-old Irish/German actor definitely have an intense bromance going on. They've worked together for years, and carry on a close friendship outside of the studio.

But that doesn't mean they're secretly "lovers!"

Still, the infamous gossip webloid MediaTakeOut.com just loves stirring up some drama.

MTO points out that when both men learned of their Oscars win, they kissed each other on the lips - twice.

Okay, sort of weird, but both were probably just overly emotional about the big win!

McQueen and Fassbender both have serious, longtime girlfriends. But still, MTO acknowleges that fact that McQueen totally "shaded" his baby mama Bianca Stigter following his acceptance speech:
