Prior to the 2013-2014 NBA season many tipped the Brooklyn Nets to win the NBA championship, but those words were soon being retracted as their season started poorly, but now they've found form that makes a final appearance a real possibility. Rookie coach Jason Kidd was often criticized, but he was rightfully given time and he's steadied the ship. Brooklyn took on the Chicago Bulls and won 96-80, showing at this present time they are indeed a class above some of their Eastern Conference rivals.

The Nets have now won four of five and they are .500, which is something they've not reached since early November. It appears their form has come at the right time with the playoffs only weeks away. As bad as the early season was, they're making amends now, and although there's still a lot to achieve to recoup what seemed lost, they're not a million miles away from the goal they originally set out.

In the past two months the Nets have gone 19-8, only losing twice at home. It appears Brook Lopez's season-ending foot injury spurred them on to this run. Each and every player appears younger and hungrier than ever before, and Jason Kidd must receive credit for this remarkable transformation.

With Deron Williams, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Kidd all on one team, you'd bet your last dollar on them being able to push on deep in to the playoffs. The question is, just how far can the Brooklyn Nets go?
