Ellie Goulding opens up about 2013 Niall Horan dating rumors, calls One Direction singer 'awesome'

In 2013, singer Ellie Goulding was tearing up the radio with hits like "Burn" and "How Long Will I Love You?", but she was also in the headlines for her love life. One of the bigger celebrities she was romantically linked to was One Direction's Niall Horan. In a new interview, Goulding addresses the rumors about her romance with Niall!

The young songstress hasn't shied away from opening up about her love life, and has often spoken about her ex-boyfriends by name in interviews.

When asked about her exes in an interview with Fabulous Magazine, Ellie said: "All the people I've dated have been really awesome, so why would I not want to know them any more?"

With a track record that includes Skrillex, Ed Sheeran and Jeremy Irvine, all anyone really cares about is Niall Horan. However, it turns out Ellie won't admit to this fling!

"I don't know where that came from," she said, possibly putting an end to the rumors from last year.

Ellie added: "But he's awesome."

At least she holds the Irish heartthrob in high regards as well!

Meanwhile, Goulding has most recently been linked romantically to McFly's Dougie Poynter after a tabloid published a fake quote of the relationship confirmation. Clearly this didn't sit well with either Ellie or Dougie, and both too to Twitter to address the controversy.
