At Paris Fashion Week, fashion designer Iris van Herpen took a futuristic trend and packaged it up for our viewing pleasure. Leather, plastic, and radio-frequencied clothing was accessorised by giant, platform, crustacean-like shoes in her Fall/Winter 2014 collection.
In the Vogue Paris promotional video, van Herpen said, "In the clothes there are wireless censors... by touching the clothes there is a wireless connection, a radio frequency... so every sound that you hear is coming from touch."
About her collection, she said, "There's a lot of blacks, there is some gray, some silver, some luminous shadows. I think that's the color palette."
