WATCH: 'Titanfall' launch trailer shows more of the Xbox One game's story instead of gameplay [VIDEO]

By now you've probably caught on to the fact that Titanfall is maybe the most anticipated game of 2014 and we're incredibly excited to cover every bit of news we can on it. What you might not have known from the previous stories and gameplay videos is that there has yet to be an actual launch trailer released for the Xbox One video game. That was true, until this week.

Considering we're talking about a game that focuses on characters that can utilize parkour tactics as well as giant mechs that are fully controlled by players, the actual story of the game might not mean too much to people. Though how did this technology come about and what is this endless war about?

This week's release of the official Titanfall launch trailer helps answer some of those questions by exploring the story of this epic game.

Though players have most likely experienced the Beta version of the game, the actual release date is next week (March 11, 2014). To coincide with this upcoming release, EA has premiered this awe-inspiring launch trailer for those preparing for one of the most anticipated games of the year.

As you can see, there is a bit of story in this new trailer that has not been talked about in the past previews of the game. This time around we learn a bit more of why we're fighting in this game. Then the trailer shows off some more gameplay footage as well.
