Former 76ers player Allen Iverson and his wife Tawanna Turner are starting to get along after years of going head to head with each other. TMZ reports that Turner is happy that she and Iverson are on the same page so that they can co-parent their 5 kids, Messiah, Isaiah, Tiaura, Allen, and Dream.

The former point guard and his wife have had a very public bad relationship over the years. Tawanna filed for divorce back in 2011, which led to an ugly custody battle. The drama led to allegations of alcohol abuse, and claims of Iverson trying to take money from his Tawanna.

Many were shocked when Iverson "Thanked" Tawanna while at the Philadelphia 76ers retirement ceremony a week ago. He shouted her out for "helping me grow as a man and taking care of me throughout my career and always being by my side and loving me."

Iverson continued, "She'll always be my favorite person in the world."

Iverson's wife says that they finally came together and had a long conversation about their relationship and their responsibilities as parents.

"We've known each other since we were 16 years old ... and we have 5 kids together. So, we have to do what's best for our kids."

MStars thinks that the two could get back together, but who knows. We are just happy that the couple is on good terms. Tawanna revealed in court last year that the former NBA star was not following his end of the custody arrangement.

"We'll always have a connection with each other," Tawanna reveals. She always says that she and her ex-husband are in a "happy" place.
