If you ever wanted to go to one of the best concerts in the world, tonight's concert at the White House would be one to choose from.

First Lady Michelle Obama is gearing up for one of the most anticipated events at the White House. Mrs. Obama will be hosting a legendary R&B performance from some of today's greatest female singers, for her Women of Soul: In Performance at the White House concert on Thursday, March 6.

The wonderful and talented women of color include, Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Ariana Grande, The Voice winner Tessanne Chin, Janelle Monae, Jill Scott, and Melissa Etheridge.

The concert is scheduled to stream live via the White House website, and will also air on PBS April 7. This event marks a celebration to honor of the great 'foremothers' of American music with songs exploring the struggles and achievements of women.

In association to the concert, the White House is also gearing up to host a workshop, I'm Every Woman: The History of Women in Soul, for students to educate them about the women of soul, and the origins of soul music.

The Women of Soul: In Performance at the White House marks the twelfth "In Performance at the White House" program during President Barack Obama's administration.
