And now in 2014, such bogus death claims started popping up on the web once again. Thankfully, the "RIP" trends have yet to resurface on Twitter and Facebook. But just to reiterate, 50-year-old Johnny Depp is NOT dead! In fact, rumors suggest he just recently proposed to much-younger Hollyood girlfriend, Amber Heard.

Anyway, the self-proclaimed "Righting a Wrong" team (RAW) over at RingSideReport.com (RSR) recently debunked this latest celebrity death hoax in a rather entertaining way. According to "The Emperor" -

I just spoke to my BF, JD, who said, "Nice try media twats, I am so alive right now, I could not be more alive. Do what you do Emperor and release the dogs on them and strike back!" Well said JD, I got this.

Yeah - highly unlikely this Emperor dude actually talked to Depp, but at least the rumors are officially laid to rest once again!

Here's a lengthy list of upcoming films Depp is set to work on: "Transcendence," "London Fields," "Into the Woods," "Mortdecai," "Black Mass," "Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass," and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales."

Yup - still alive and kicking it after all of these years!
