Jason Weaver not apologizing for comments made on Lil Boosie’s Prison Release – "I only spoke the Truth"

Fans have been rejoicing and posting on social media like crazy, since the release of rapper Lil Boosie. Although thousands are excited about the rapper being released from prison, Actor Jason Weaver feels different.

On the rapper's Instagram page the caption read : "Boosie's daughter wanted to tell y'all something!"

She sings, "I told y'all ni**as! I told y'all ni**as! Y'all thought I was playing, but I told you! Boosie coming home today, he coming home today, he coming home today. Told y'all! Y'all better believe it. The streets is his!"

The former Smart Guy actor took to his Instagram with a statement judging the fans on Boosie's prison release celebration.

The actor wrote, "Ok so.... I see a lot ppl on IG posting stuff about Lil Boosie gettin out of prison, talmbout "Welcome Home" "Boosie Back" and all kinds of other co*n s**t. Listen man, no disrespect to Boosie or anyone else for that matter who has ever been incarcerated, but the problem I have with the IG posts regarding him gettin out is it's being displayed like it's some kind of thing to celebrate."

He continues, "I'm sorry man, but why can't we celebrate young black men who have stayed OUT of prison? I'm not judging Boosie or any other individual who may have faced similar circumstances."

"It would sure be cool though if we posted more pics of our young brothas receiving high school diplomas, college degrees, and cool shit like that instead of a playa gettin out of prison mane. I'm about celebrating milestones in young black men's lives that we can REALLY be proud of! Like for real... C'mon son!! Sorry for the rant, but I just had to say it.#KanyeShrug"

Apparently Weaver was arrested as well. In 2011 the actor was allegedy arrested for "urinating/defecating" in public on someone's lawn.

After receiving backlash for his post, Weaver posted to his Facebook and saying he will not apologize for speaking the truth.

"Well..Looks like the kid kicked up a lil bit of dust yesterday with a post that I placed on Instagram. First and foremost, let me say this..I will NOT retract my statement from that earlier post, nor will I apologize for saying what I said."

"I only spoke THE TRUTH whether it offended some people or not. Also, for those of you who thought that I was personally attacking brotha Boosie..Then you OBVIOUSLY didn't actually read the post or you may just be slower than others...."
