'Love and Hip Hop ATL' Stevie J jailed for missing court in $1.2 million child support case

Reality star, Stevie J. may be heading to jail after failing to appearing to the New York State Family Court of Manhattan February 25th.

According to The Source.com, the Love & Hip Hop ATL star's children's mother, Carol Antoinette Bennett claims that the music producer still owes her over $1 million in child support and served him a subpoena by the Project Child Support after failing to pay her for over 16 years.

Founder of Project Child Support, Kai D. Patterson said, "Each time Mr. Jordan fails to appear, he enables Project Child Support to request what we need to eventually seize his assets to pay the arrears and fees if he is unwilling to do so, without his opposition.  Now that we can issue subpoenas through a court order, we will aggressively begin to issue subpoenas prior to our next scheduled court date."

The reality star's next court date is April 23rd.

"Love and Hip Hop ATL" star, Stevie J is in hot water again after information about the reality star owing $1 million in back taxes in addition to owing over $1 million in child support.

According to Mediatakeout.com, the site received information about the New York native's CALABASAS home. The reality star made headlines for his $1.2 million bill for unpaid child support for two children he had with his former girlfriend.

Bounty Alert and the Custodial Support Foundation, an organization that recovers hidden assets is set to investigate companies that are associated with the producer to uncover shielded wealth.

According to AllHipHop.com, Tiffany Stewart Esq., President of the Custodial Support Foundation said, "Our preliminary investigative efforts in Ms. Bennett's case have uncovered information which raises huge concerns."

The music industry executive rep, Carol Bennett says that the reality star's assets are being targeted.
