Batista's return to WWE has met with a mostly negative reception, as fans quickly turned on him once he won the Royal Rumble match at the end of January. Part of the problem was the desire to see Daniel Bryan in his spot, and some felt that Batista should not have received a spot in the main event of WrestleMania 30 because he had been gone for so long.
Regardless of the reason, the fans have been booing Batista relentlessly in recent weeks, but WWE producers have become optimistic about The Animal after last weekend.
Wrestlezone.com reports exclusively that Batista was a major topic of discussion among producers on Monday after many of the producers had avoided talking about him since his return because Triple H worked hard for him to come back. Producers felt Batista had his "first good weekend" at house shows during the weekend and that he needed time to adjust to the fans' reaction to his return.
"Now that Batista is a heel and they're not running from the Boo-tista taunts, WWE feels they can play into that," a person in the meeting told WrestleZone. "No one disagreed, because he's seen as being HHH's project and going against him right now is bad for job security."
Batista himself also commented about his week on Twitter:
Hell of a week! The most fun since I've been back. Incredible crowds! Great matches and trainings w/ @joshrafferty Back 2 La La Land I go!

Rumored Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 30
Wrestlezone.com landed another exclusive scoop on Tuesday when it reported that WWE is considering an eight-man tag team match with NXT and WWE stars. The most recent internal rundown of the event has the match as tentative, but it would pit Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Bo Dallas and NXT Champion Adrian Neville against Jack Swagger, Corey Graves and The Ascension, the NXT Tag Team Champions.
The match would blend WWE and NXT storylines, though it is unknown if the match is definite yet. A decision will likely come as WrestleMania 30 draws closer and WWE can schedule the timing of the event. WWE would also likely have to finalize all 30 participants in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal before booking this match.
