In a new interview with Teen Vogue, rising star Shailene Woodley was asked about the difference between her new young adult movie franchise, Divergent, and probably the biggest franchise of the same ilk, Twilight. Her answer might shock you!

Or you might just agree with her. Either way, Woodley is not afraid to speak her mind!

"Twilight, I'm sorry, is about a very unhealthy, toxic relationship. She falls in love with this guy and the second he leaves her, her life is over and she's going to kill herself," Woodley told Teen Vogue for the upcoming April issue's cover story. "What message are we sending to young people?"

Woodley's upcoming movie, Divergent, has been deemed "the next Hunger Games," which already puts high expectations on the film. But Woodley revealed she almost wasn't part of the project!

"I said no, and everybody was shocked," she revealed, then explained how she turned to the Hunger Games starlet, Jennifer Lawrence, for advice. "I asked Jennifer Lawrence, 'Are you happy with your choice to take on The Hunger Games?' And she said she wouldn't change it for the world. She told me, 'There are some things-don't make a sex tape, don't do drugs, don't do things in public-that you wouldn't want other people judging you for. But this is the best decision you'll ever make.'"

We're excited to see Shailene's career take off and can't wait for Divergent to hit theaters later this month. Read more on Shailene's Teen Vogue interview here!
