Judge Judy lawsuit, infamous TV court star sues lawyer John Haymond for $75,000: 'shamelessly used image' to pursue personal injury clients

 Judith Sheindlin is known for her fighting spirit on the popular CBS TV court show, Judge Judy:

But now, the infamous Manhattan Family court jurist may find herself behind the plaintiff's table!

According to Judge Judy, a Connecticut-based lawyer named John Haymond used her personal image and fame to help boost his own business. Haymond specializes in personal injury clients.

According to TMZ, Sheindlin is angry because her "independant reputation" (which she's built-up for years) is now on the line - without her consent. She never endorsed any of Haymond's ads.

The hard-hitting judge told the infamous gossip webloid, "Without seeking my authorization or consent, Mr. Haymond has taken that choice away from me for his own personal gain.  I cannot tolerate that, and intend to hold Mr. Haymond financially responsible for his actions.. Mr. Haymond is a lawyer and should know better."

Haymond must be putting his law skills to work, because none of the ads featuring Sheindlin can be found on the web. Several of the clips allegedly also featured Haymond's daughters.

Reports confirm that Judge Judy is seeking a whopping $75,000 in damages.
