Beyoncé & Others Empower Young Girls in #BanBossy Campaign

Celebrities ranging from Beyonce to Jane Lynch to Jennifer Garner have all come together (in partnership with The Lifetime Network & The Girls Scouts Of America) to ban the word bossy. They're encourage young girls to feel afraid to be leaders when they grow up.

According to the website, the #BanBossy's mission campaign is - "Words like bossy send a message: don't raise your hand or speak up. By middle school, girls are less interested in leading than boys-a trend that continues into adulthood."

The #BanBossy campaign also provides various tools to encourage young women leaders. For example, how to speak up, set up goals to achieve their dreams, and much more.
