Yes, Scarlett Johansson did pick up random men in a van while filming 'Under the Skin'

In the 2014 film Under the Skin, Scarlett Johansson plays an alien trying to learn the ways of the human race by interacting with men in various ways including sexually. Director Jonathan Glazer's style of filmmaking in Under the Skin has caught a lot of attention already, with one approach involving Johansson picking up real hitchhikers and other non-actors in a van. Both actress and director has talked about this aspect of the film, but now one of these gentlemen has been interview by The Daily Mail about his experience being picked up by Scarlett Johansson!

Kevin McAliden was one of the lucky men that got the chance to be in this interesting film, by being picked up by the Avengers actress.

"What man wouldn't think, 'Wow,' when a good-looking woman has just pulled up in a van. [...] She said: 'Are you single? What are you doing tonight?' I thought, 'Yes! This is unbelievable!' I'd been having quite a tough time in my personal life, so this was like a lucky break. I should have known it was too good to be true," Aliden told The Daily Mail.

Upon entering the van, Kevin was asked to sign a release form to appear in the film. This apparently "stunned" him, but he was glad to participate.

"The man said: 'Do you know who that was who brought you home? Scarlett Johansson.' I knew instantly it was the truth. It all fell into place. Afterwards, when I told my family and friends, they accused me of being nuts," Kevin explained. "But I had the last laugh when they saw the film trailer."
