Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is headed toward two major events: the premiere of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the show's Season 1 finale. And according to the cast and crew, both events will have major ramifications on the series.

The following comes from the "Matt's Inside Line" column at TVLine:

"Do you have any scoop on what's coming up on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in their eight remaining episodes, perhaps something Marvel-y? -Andy B
I'm sure I don't need to tell you this, Andy, but RUN DON'T WALK to see Captain America: Winter Solider (in theaters April 4), which uncorks, as one S.H.I.E.L.D. star told us at the film's Hollywood screening a 'huge tie-in' to the ABC series. And perhaps because of that, 'Things go crazy' in the season finale, EP Maurissa Tancharoen said, 'and not all survive.'"

Chloe Bennet, who plays Skye on the show, recently teased the connection between the two Marvel properties:

"If anyone sees a trailer for Captain America [The Winter Soldier], you'll notice that SHIELD is a huge part of what is happening in the movie, just by all the talk of SHIELD and all the SHIELD logos everywhere, so definitely there's a crossover of things happening," she told Zap2It. "I can't tell you how much, but I can tell you that it is insane."

She went on to tease that Captain America 2 could directly influence more than one episode of the show.

"It will heavily affect our characters, I think," Bennet said. "Everyone, definitely go see 'Captain America 2' and then you're going to definitely want to watch our show before and after."

What do you think will happen, Marvel fans? Who will die in the finale? Let us know in the comments below.
