Chris Brown Tweets Heartfelt Condolences to Rihanna’s Grandmother

Although Chris Brown and Rihanna have both gone separate ways a long time ago, family connection between the two is certainly still there. Chris Brown tweets his heartfelt message to Rihanna's family with the passing of the singer's grandmother.

Chris Brown tweeted his heartfelt condolences on Sunday morning when he learned about the passing of Rihanna's grandmother, who she fondly calls as Gran Gran Dolly.

"Praying for family and the lost loved one. She was like my grandmother. Love you GRAN GRAN! RIP," Browns posted on his Twitter account.

The pair has long been away from each other since 2009. Currently, the two are rumored to be secretly back in each other's arms even with the fact that Brown is in a relationship. But with the heartfelt message Chris gave out, it is clear that there is still some emotional attachment between the two that cannot be dissed.

A short time after Chris Brown's tweet, Rihanna posted a message on her Twitter bidding farewell to her beloved grandmother.

"Goodbye #grangranDOLLY get your beauty rest until I see you," the Barbadian singer said.

It was just a couple of weeks ago when she posted intimate photos of herself while spending time with her sick grandmother. She has then followed into posting more pictures of her and her grandmother Dolly over the years.

Rihanna's grandmother died on Sunday after her battle with cancer. She was hospitalized at the Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York where Rihanna frequently visits her.
