Cleveland Cavaliers rally to beat in-form New York Knicks

The Cleveland Cavaliers have had an inconsistent season, but they faced an uphill battle to defeat the in form New York Knicks. At half time there appeared to be only one outcome, as they were able to shoot 59 percent and create a 17-point lead in the first half. Brown rallied his troops at half time and that led to a remarkable comeback, with the Cavaliers grabbing the 106-100 victory.

Brown's fury must of made the difference, and Jack explained "It was about making a stand -- each individual person making a stand and then collectively as a team, us all bringing that same mindset to the table, That's pretty much what it was about. I thought guys responded. But he shouldn't have to do that. We should come out and have that mindset on our own. That falls on my shoulders -- and a lot of the veteran guys on this team. We have to do a good job of conveying that message each and every night."

It appears Jack took the words and put them in to action for his coach, as he scored his season-high of 31 points, and dished out 10 assists. With no Kyrie Irving, Jack had to be the man, and it's clear that he thrived under that pressure. The Cavaliers ended the Knicks' eight-game winning streak, and kept their very slim playoff chances alive.

The Cavaliers will look forward to their seasons end, knowing they've been far below their best. Victories like this make the team realize they can reach the heights they expected to on a daily basis, but they will look to use the 2014 NBA draft to upgrade their roster, before using next season as the year to judge their hard work on.
