'Scandal' star Columbus Short under investigation after a bar fight

Columbus Short may have his own Scandal to deal with. MStars is learning that gladiator Harrison Wright on Scandal was involved in a bar fight on March 15.

The man that Short was involved in the fight with was sent to the hospital, and now we have learned that police are conducting a criminal investigation.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources revealed that the Scandal star was at Gabe's Bar and Grill in L.A. celebrating a couple's engagement when the actor and a man started arguing.

Short apparently became upset by the partygoer's comment, "You might be richer than me but I get my girls to buy me everything I want including your wife."

An eyewitness reveals that the gladiator came up from behind and sucker punched the man, resulting in a broken nose and the man becoming unconscious for a couple of minutes.

As the ambulance approached the scene, the actor quickly got missing, leaving the 37-year-old man with EMT's, later being sent to the hospital .

MStars has learned that police are now investigating a criminal battery. According to the gossip site, this is not Short's first time fighting. In March 2010, the Scandal star was playing basketball at an L.A. Fitness gym when he and another player were involved in an altercation resulting in the man's teeth to be knocked out.
