It has been 4 months since Fast and Furious fans said their goodbyes to Paul Walker, and now more information has come to light on just how the actor died.

TMZ reported that Walker died as a result of speeding not mechanical errors. The site revealed that the CHP did a speed analysis showing that the driver, Roger Rodas was going between 80 and 93 MPH.

While driving Rodas lost control of the Porsche when he went around a curve causing him to crash. The Associated Press quoted one source from the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. which stated that the agency conducting the mechanics analysis says the crash was not a result of mechanical failure.

Speed played a major part into the fatal accident that took both Walker's and Rodas' life. The site also mentions that investigators noted the tires on the Porsche was 9 years old.

Investigators also rooted out that there was no other car involved in the collision. No alcohol or drugs were found in Walker's or Rodas' system at the time of the fatal accident. Although we have learned that an after-market exhaust system was installed, making the engine's horsepower increase.

The Fast and Furious star died along with his friend, Roger Rodas on Nov. 30 after attending an charity event. See crash report here.
