Maroon 5 rocker Adam Levine is NOT dead. Repeat - former "The Voice" judge did NOT recently pass away from a tragic drug overdose. Just another morbid celebrity death hoax that recently went viral on the web.

This FAKE Facebook post recently put fans into a tizzy:

"[BREAKING NEWS] ADAM LEVINE of Maroon 5 Dies at 35 from Drug Overdose ... Was reported Dead on Arrival after being rescued from a Drug ..."

But the link is likely SCAM - so don't click on it! When users attempt to learn more about the shocking story, they're directed to another page that asks for personal account information. If fans do so, they could end up downloading some dangerous and malicious malware. So beware!

The crazy "RIP Adam Levine" rumors quickly spread on popular social networking sites including Twitter:

@RyanRedRobles: "Whaaaattt? Adam Levine is dead???"

@lorainbows: "Adam Levine is not dead you b*tches."

@sarakha04405818: "Is Adam Levine really dead??? Plz someone tell?? Im worried!!"

@Maroon5GIGGs: "Retweet if you hate all the celebrity death scams going on! Especially this one about #adamlevine #maroon5."

@abcdeveemae: "Whoever made that rumor that Adam Levine died from a drug overdose is an a$$hole."

Mstars is here to confirm that Levine certainly is NOT dead. Don't believe such insane Facebook scams - they only lead to trouble!
