England fans are looking forward to the 2014 World Cup, which is being staged in Brazil. Although they are not favourites to win the cup, they're always capable of being a threat, and many fans are still looking forward to seeing their favourite soccer players perform against their elite rivals. With every new tournament comes a new jersey, and sometimes even two. Today England unveiled two new kits, both of a basic nature, while sticking with the red and white to represent their nation.

The kits are made by Nike, who claim they represent the "English football history and cultural design." When Martin Lotti, Nike Football's global design director, spoke of the new home kit, he said - "Two references really stood out during the design process for the home kit - that stunning all-white kit England wore in Mexico in 1970 and the idea of the armour of English Knights," He then proceeded to say, "You can see subtle references to the armour in the pinstripe, which carries a hint of shine, and the white satin tape on the shoulders. We wanted to add some small detail that echoed the glow of the armour worn by St George."

The fans, however, are not happy, with the price being touted as high as $150.00 per each jersey. When the tournaments arrive, many parents usually treat their children to the jerseys, but this staggering price has caused mayhem, as the average family won't be able to afford one (if they'd even want to buy one at that price).

England star Wayne Rooney said, "I'm always proud to put on the England kit and with these ones it'll be no different. I can't wait to get out to Brazil and play in them this summer." Rooney is likely to be one of the names the fans put on their jerseys, if they can find the costly sum to buy one.
