'Once Upon a Time' Adds 'Wonderland' Alumni Next Season, Michael Socha

Fans of 'Once Upon a Time' and spinoff series 'Once Upon a Time in Wonderland' have reason to celebrate. Michael Socha who plays the charming Knave of Hearts on 'Wonderland' is expected to join the cast of fairytale characters on 'Once Upon a Time' when the show returns for its 2014-2015 season.

ABC however, has not officially picked up 'Once' for a fourth season but if and when it does, which we are thinking it most likely will, producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are looking to exercise the option to bring Socha from Wonderland to Storybrooke.

Socha plays the Knave of Hearts also known as Will Scarlet, a thief and daredevil who helps Alice on her quest to be reunited with her one true love in Wonderland. When we last left Will he was enchanted into becoming a genie and was trying to bring his love the Red Queen back from the dead after Jafar, yes that Jafar, killed her. But it seems that Will might be double-crossing Alice to get what he wants.

It came as no shock to viewers that freshman fairytale drama 'Once Upon a Time in Wonderland' was being cancelled by the network after weeks of poor ratings. The series is set to complete its 13 episode run this Thursday at 8 on ABC.

This news today comes as hope for fellow 'Wonderland' lovers that this show can live on in part through flagship show 'Once Upon a Time.' No other names of character making the move from Wonderland have been released as of yet but if we know anything about 'Once' it's that you can never count anyone out. I know that I would love to see Alice going head to head with the wicked witch of the west.
