[WATCH] Ellen DeGeneres $10,000 suprise to chef who helps give back to others

We at Mstars love it when celebrities help those in need and inspire others.

That's why we love The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Every week, Ellen showcases unique people who inspire and give back those in need.

This past week she welcomed Derrick Walton, a once homeless chef from Des Moines who now owns his own restaurant, Chef D's Rock Power Pizza.

More importantly, once a week Walton closes his restaurant to help feed those in need.

But helping others doesn't come cheap - that's why Ellen surprised Walton with a $10,000 check so he can continue his truly amazing deed!

When presented with the check, a teary eyed Walton remarked, "I didn't know where the money was going to come from....this is going to help me keep these doors open."
