Soccer fans are full of excitement at the moment. The season is coming to a close, which means trophies are on the line, clubs are about to pursue new players and the 2014 Brazil World Cup is weeks away. There isn't a better time to be a soccer fan. After every World Cup certain players step out of the shadow and become global superstars. Here's five superstars that should have excellent World Cups, but will then most likely leave for a new club team.

Loic Remy

The striker is one of the best players France have at the moment, but his club situation is a lot more confusing than his international one. He is currently owned by Queens Park Rangers, who are a level below the Premier League, but he has spent the season on loan at Newcastle United. Loic Remy has had a brilliant season, making a name for himself as one of the better forwards around. A good World Cup should ensure that neither QPR or Newcastle are able to keep their man. Expect Arsenal and Liverpool to fight it out.

Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku is currently owned by Chelsea, but has spent the majority of the season in form for Everton. It looks likely that Chelsea will sell the young Belgium international, and Everton should not be able to agree a deal for the forward. Beligum are predicted to have a brilliant World Cup, and it's likely Romelu will add to his reputation, too.

Adam Lallana

Adam Lallana ha been a breath of fresh air for Southampton, England and the Premier League, but it appears he's destined for bigger things than can be achieved at Southampton football club. If as expected, he travels to the World Cup, and plays well, he should earn himself a big move to Manchester United. A near certainty to leave the Saints.

Luke Shaw

Another that has had similar fortunes to his Southampton team mate, Adam Lallana, and he is regarded as one of the best left backs in the world. Shaw should get a chance to impress for England, but even if not, it's unlikely he will return to Southampton, with Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea sniffing around the talented full back.

Toni Kroos

Toni Kroos is one of the best midfield players in the world, and he's already at the biggest club in Bayern Munich, but he's reportedly unhappy, and struggling to agree a new contract with the Bundesliga champions, meaning he could be open to a move. Manchester United have been heavily linked with the star, and he's done little to dismiss the rumour. This deal could happen, but expect Bayern to fight until the end to keep their man.

These five stars are ones to watch this World Cup, but can you think of any other in a similar situation?
