A hit digital comic from MonkeyBrain Comics will now join IDW Publishing's pint lineup. From writer Brian Winkleler and artist Robert Wilson IV, Knuckleheads: Fist Contact revolves around a super powered slacker who has to choose between drinking his beer and saving the world from an alien invasion.

Plot Synopsis:

Trevor K. Trevinski (don't ask what the "K" stands for) is visited by aliens and given a very special gift-The Crystal Fist! What is it? How does it work? Trev doesn't remember. But he can use it to cheat at videogames and boost free cable, so everything's cool. Until, you know, a giant monster attacks the city.

The Knuckleheads series follows Trev and his slacker  roommate Lance as they make new friends. There's a character named Pizza Guy among the cast. The slacker roommates are chasing after Emma, who is supposed to be a hot and drunk English chick. The whole gang ends up encountering  giant monsters, gun-toting robbers, talking dogs, and homicidal aliens. Rather than save the world, Trev just wants to eat pizza and watch some movies on Netflix.

Winkleler describes the comedy behind the story,"We love sitcoms like Arrested Development and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Our goal with Knuckleheads is to create a unique, character-based comedy inspired by our favorite shows."

Get ready for the super powered  Knuckleheads: Fist Contact when it  hits stores in June. Guaranteed to tickle your funny bone, Knuckleheads is an over-the-top  action/comedy like no other.
