The Cleveland Cavaliers have had a season full of ups and downs, but they were still hopeful a week a go, that they could sneak in to the NBA playoffs. After a couple of losses it has become something they wished would of happened, and something that now looks near impossible to be achieved. The Cavaliers suffered a 96-94 loss to the Charlotte Bobcats, and now they will turn their attention to the 2014 NBA Draft.

The Bobcats' coach, Steve Clifford, was in good spirit and said "This is a significant accomplishment for our group of guys, and it puts us in a different place in the league. The guys in the locker room are excited - and they should be - because we've got a good group of guys and a group of guys who are truly deserving."

Whilst the Bobcats enjoy their turn around, the Cavaliers will look to create their own. They know they need to resign certain players, let some go and finally get their franchise in order this summer, whether than means luring LeBron James back to Cleveland, or moving on for good. With a talented core, many will believe that the Cavaliers can become the next team to rise from nothingness, like the Bobcats.

Another thing the Cavaliers will need to address is why they lose more games with star point guard Kyrie Irving in the team than without. For a team to lose more with their star player, it suggests something is not functioning correctly.
