Amanda Bynes celebrates 28th birthday in Mexico

Actress Amanda Bynes went south of the border to celebrate her 28th birthday.  The Hairspray star spent her spring break in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico while posing for the cameras.  Her parents Rick and Lynn were also in Mexico with the starlet.

Mstars reported when Bynes returned to her Twitter account to reconnect with fans.  Bynes has been enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design Merchandising (FIDM) in Orange County, California.  Her trip to Mexico marked the end of her first quarter at the Institute.  The Bynes' family attorney Tamar Arminak spoke with E! News and said, "Amanda is doing great and excelling in her studies,"

Arminak continued, "She is a natural when it comes to fashion and is really enjoying the learning process." 

Bynes sported a lime green bikini and a toned, tanned physique pool side.  E! News reports that Bynes has been frequenting the gym and kicked off the new year at a week-long fittness retreat at Miracles Fittness Retreat in Utah.

The owner of Miracles, Austan Torson, told E! in January, "She was interested in getting healthier... to get in better shape, to lose about five pounds, but mainly to strengthen up and eat healthier." 

The actress wrote, "Thank you everyone for all the birthday wishes," and posted a couple photos of her on vacation.
